Help Best NON-HID bulbs to match the OEM projector?
Best NON-HID bulbs to match the OEM projector?
I'm hoping to upgrade my city light 198/162 wedge bulbs and my H1 foglight bulbs to something a little bit less yellow. I do not want to change my OEM projector (I think 6000K reduces visibility too much in rain/fog), and I do not want to upgrade my foglight to HID. And every LED I install in the city light starts to flicker after a few months.
So does anyone manufacture a 198/162 wedge bulb (non-LED) and an H1 foglight bulb with a pure white color? Hopefully there's something in the 5000K range, but I haven't found anything yet. I'm not looking for any hint of blue or yellow, just a nice pure crisp white. Any suggestions?!?

This is not my car, but it is the post that convinced me to get these. I think the before and after pics are on the second page in a post by Motor25

If that link doesn't work it's in a thread called "Who has changed their Parking/City Lights?"

PIAA Xtreme White are really good for the 194 wedge bulbs, about $10/pr. The bulbs themselves look blue buy they illuminate white. I'm sure PIAA has a comparable H1 but I chose 2500K yellow fogs from them so I didn't look for an Xtreme White in that one.
