Alliance Carbon Fiber Engine Cover! (help design it)

Alliance is making Carbon Fiber engine covers for the G37. They just recieved mine today to make the prototype. Here is what he sent me, let your opinions fly, plus I need to know where the fitment problems were with the strut bar.

"Alliance logo where I have it in red.

The black area outlined in yellow on top of the silver 'U': Have the dimples flattened out, but the overall area still 'sunk' below where the current silver is.

The yellow outlined area at the bottom, two ideas, and this is where the input of you and others comes in: I think it should be left as is so that the logo is reused and transferred. I think the chrome logo will break up the monotony of CF. Most people tend to disagree. If people disagree, I propose that the logo area outlined be raised all together so that it is the same elevation as the rest of the 'U.

Where does the strut bar cross the engine cover so that it could be made thinner?

Feel free to copy and paste what I just said above into the thread if you make it.
Also, there was no infiniti mount fuji symbol in the box, I'm assuming you took it off? Just curious"

Thanks
mike

Thanks

I'm more interested in exterior mods !!! Good luck though I just don't care to have something that is not visibly noticeable

Just tell them to make it thinner than the OEM so you dont have strut bar clearance issues. I have to say that SE did a great job with that.

Yay for Solimomo getting more stuff done for the G.

Do they do CF? If so, I think it'd be really cool if they keep the same silver and black scheme but use silver CF and black CF instead. It'll maintain the OEM look except it'll be a subtle upgrade using CF. The contrast from black to silver CF would be awesome.

I think the top part out lined in yellow should be clear to see the intake manifold. The bottom in yellow should have the "V6 VVEL" in different letters. Let me know what you think.

Yeah thats what it is.

From your OP, it sounds like they just wanna smoothe out the dimples, and MAYBE raise the part where the fuji is. Maybe not.

Thats exactly whats in the pic i just posted lol.
