finally someone else has this! i've had my g37s for 9 months now and have zero rattles (even with eibach pro-kit) except for this one. I've had this annoying issue for about 2 months and was thinking it had something to do with me getting the windshield replaced right after I bought it. The sound is almost like the bottom of the windshield is not sealed tight enough - like the seal is breaking/popping.

I plan on getting my 11k oil change this week and will be asking them to address this sound issue too. I'll let you guys know what they say.

Same! bought mine in OCT 2500 miles, jsut started really. I thought it might be a wiper getting knocked upward on a bump. It's hard to tell though.

At one point I thought it sounded like the plastic agaist the windshield (the linear vent) on the inside was getting bound up and "popping" as the car flexed, but when I manually push on the plastic I cant repeat it. That doesn't mean that there isn't something else binding up under the dash near the window, or a piece of heating duct at some connection isn't making the noise. The reason I mention the duct it becase for the last couple of days I've been running my heat down at my feet only and I havn't had the "popping" noise. I only started hearing the popping when it got cold out and I used my heater. Just a thought.

picked up the car today.. they fixed my sunroof that had messed up.. but they claimed they couldn't hear the window sound so I'm going to go back and take the tech for a ride over some bumps lol

I have this exact same problem, the one person on here describes it exactly!

It is really dependant on how bad it is at certain temps! I have not had the chance to take this into the dealer yet and honestly a little afraid to have look at it, as they could make more rattles by taking it apart.

Otherwise this car has been perfect!! This noise has been there from the start and I only have 2k miles on her!

If someone finds a fix for this please post the fix.

I get this noise over decent bumps, or by going up my driveway at a slight angle, i think it really hits the flex point. I thought the noise first sounded like the windshield was loose or cracked when going over bumps!

have any of you noticed this only happens while the engine is warming up? like mine only does it as im leaving my apt in the morning, but once the engine is warm it seems the windshield is as well, and it doesnt pop anymore.
any ideas?

I think it might, but in relation to using the heater. I think as the iterior warms up and the expansion of materials stablizes the noise stops, but I also noitice I don't get the noise if I use the floor vents only. Maybe that is just a coincidence.

It might be true. Yesterday it was freezing in the morning and that thing kept on popping and was annoying me. Today the temperature was hotter and i didn't hear anything at all. It definately could be the weather IMO.

If only it was that simple.... Dubai min 15 max 25 (winter) - pops whenever the road is less than smooth - speed makes no diff - pops at 20, 100 or 180 k's..

Sorry dudes - next idea?
