Just wanted to share some feedback with everyone. After 2-3 weeks of hesitating on what temperature bulb to get and from which company, I finally decided to purchase 2 Philips 6000K bulbs from Steve @ Xenon Depot. I probably sent this guy a ton of messages asking various questions/concerns, and he was not only prompt in his answers, but also informative (...not to mention patient). Steve says it'll be shipped on Monday and that I should expect to receive it by Tuesday...wow next day delivery!

hey drjones, ive been interested in these bulbs for a long time now... if you have a chance I would like to see them in person. I've met you a few times at the g35/g37 meets before in the past. Can you still get them for that price?

Do you happen to have a picture of the packaging and the bulb itself?

this place used to be xenondepot..I purchased a few kits from them a while back when I had my svt contour..Great products and thats a really good price for philips ultinons..they always do next day (DHL iirc)

Its funny because I changed my bulbs from 4300k (85122+) to the same 4300K however the older serial of (85122) which tend to color shift a lot quicker rather then the 85122+. Instantly I noticed a huge difference and that the yellowness was gone..highly recommend this rather then getting bluer bulbs (your lose output).

If memory serves the bulbs themself look identical to the OEM's. The box they came in looks like this:

And if you are anywhere in the Houston area we can meet up. Just PM me.

i been buying HIDs exclusively from Steve @ Xenondepot since 2002 form my RSX days.
IMO these are the best quality HIDs in the market and the term "u get wat u pay for" comes into full affect. I will swear by these.....

P.S. i have the 6k bulbs in my G right now and i love them

drjones, appreciate the pictures. I went to the website and i notice that the price of $149 is for 1 bulb only? I was hoping you get a pair for that price. I was about to order me a set.

are these the same as Philips ULTINONS 6k?

From the 1st post:

Here is a message from Steve at KB Car Stuff: "MSRP on the bulbs is $109.99 each. The best price I can offer you guys is 2 bulbs for: $169.98 + shipping. There is no minimum number of people required. Orders are shipped as they are placed.

The bulbs that we sell are genuine German made Philips Ultinon bulbs. The bulbs are brand new and purchased directly from Philips. They are double layered and anti-UV."

Buyers will need to follow this link http://www.kbcarstuff.com/Philips_Ul.../pb-d2s-6k.htm and use the coupon code my37 OR login to PayPal and send the payment to info@xenondepot.com use the same coupon code upon checkout – my37. You will see a $50 discount appear.

Bumping a very old thread. I just received a pair of 6000K Philips Untinon D2S form a "very reputable" eBay vendor. Surprise! As soon as I opened the package I could tell they were fakes before even taking them out of the box. Typical "white box" garbage. I knew the price was too low, that's what I get for being cheap when I know better. I can't believe I wasted my time on it, but I did. Needless to say I'm sending them back.

Anyway I found this thread and ordered them from Xenon Depot, now at #1 Reseller of HID Conversion Kits and HID Kits since 2001!. I'm only bumping the thread to inform others looking for them that the coupon (MY37) for $50 off of a pair still worked for me as of a few minutes ago. So withe the discount and free shipping they are $169.98 for a PAIR. I'll up date this when I actually get them in to inspect them.

How are they compared to V-LEDs? I'm kind of disappointed with V-LED light output
