I was thinking of ordering some bats overlays...anyone care to give their install reviews? Do you need to take off the lights to install? What does everyone think of them?

 

have you done any tail-light overlays? if not don't do it yourself... i tried it and jacked it up... i had my friend do it and it took about 2 hours... he knew what he was doing and we didn't take the headlights out... it's just really time consuming...

 

I know a really good tint guy who I will get to install them..just really wondering if you need to remove the lights to get a proper fitment

 

Light removal is not necessary. But the word of the day is patience. Patience patience patience. I effed up 2 sets before I got mine right.

 

Yes, PATIENCE is the key to a good install . Actually, I've had many first timers able to install right the first time , just one of those things where you either have a knack for installing overlays or not. I've even heard some of my customers getting their girlfriends or wife to install wit success, guess they have more patience than some of us guys . In fact, 3 of my installers are women .
