i had the vled inverted cones in my g35 and they lasted about 10 months before they started flickering. i have had them in my g37 for a year now. however, i dont turn on the fogs and they are still fine...but i only have 3800 miles on the car.

Funny thing is I keep hearing on the forums; "my LEDs work no problem and my fogs are always/sometimes on"... but no one is willing to point out the LED Manufacturer and website link for these superiror LEDs.

I need to see it in writing or hear the sales guy on the phone tell me that it is heat resistant and useable with headlights in the same housing before I go through the wheel well again.

why are you going through the wheel well? It's east to get through if you remove the intake. I'm using supervrightleds.com 5 led wedge and they have held up well. I'm not a sales person so I can't guarentee it. What have you used before?

^^^ I've tried to go from the top, I've deemed it just shy of impossible to reach that little bulb under the fogs. How did you manage?

Yeah it seemed as easy to go through wheel well and I can see everything that way. I guess its as much work LOL!

I've used the Superbrightleds.com LEDs for my license plate & door lights.

If you use superbrightleds LEDs they now state on the package not for use in headlight and will void of warranty due to overheating if you do.

If you go through the wheel well you can see what your doing. I didnt go from top as well because I started to and realized I couldn't see as well as going through wheel well.

While your at it you might as well change/upgrade your fogs.
The parking light has like a PEG handle(something like a half a clothes peg - if you have ever seen one of those) you turn counter-clock wise a notch to release. Then clockwise a notch to screw back in.

SuperBrightLeds.com now states this is an issue and will void warranty. When you buy bulbs from them now there is a warning label about head lights.

And my experience with my past car (jag x-type) was LEDs burned out in the light housing because of heat. Housing had same shared bulb too an H1.

Since changing our bulbs isn't 1,2,3 - I'm sticking with my Amber Bulbs

I move the intake out of the way, look at the front of the headlight, stick my hand behind the headlight in around the same area that im looking at, grab the long stick-like holder, twist and pull it out.

The wheel well is nice to actually look at the rear of the light, but I guess we each have our own ways

^^^ Maybe I'll try again when my JWTs come in... I don't really feel like jacking up my car and removing my wheel TWICE.

You remove the wheel too??? Just turn the wheel all the way and pop out the single clip located on the wheel week towards the front around where the bumper and fender meet. Then take out the bolt under the bumper that holds the wheel well in and get your fingers And pry back the opening. You should have access to the city light by doing just this.
