Question on lamin-x tial light overlays

I purchased the charcoal lamin-x tail overlay recently.

I called a local tint shop to get a price on tints. I would rather let them put on the overlays also since i want the reverse light cut out and the trunk button cut out (i feel i would mess up if i tried this myself).

He mentioned that he doesn't install tint if it isn't from his shop but also mentioned that he doesn't do the tail lights in this weather because its too cold, and that it won't stick on properly.
Is this true for the lamin-x overlays or is this for a different type of film that he might be using? Can lamin-x be put on in the cold and still set in properly?

Also, i've been searching but couldn't many pics of this set-up...anyone have pics of full taillight overlays with just the reverse lights cut-out?? theres plenty of gtr style so maybe someone can photoshop that and leave the reverse light cut out, preferably on a BO. Unless i should just leave the whole taillight full tint...can't decide yet.

Thanks for the input

I had a set of Lamin-X tails that I tryed to put on myself but ended up failing horrendously and ruined them completely... LOL... I don't remember the instructions mentioning anything about "do not install if colder than x degrees" tho But yeah.. Take them somewhere that has experience with overlay installs... Tint and overlays are apples and oranges....

Thanks for the info...i figured i would mess them up if i tried, thats why i rather get them put on when i get my tints.

Anyone else know if lamin-x overlays can be put on in the cold?

^^I did the same with 2 sets of Bats too. Temp should not matter as you will use a blowdryer or heat gun anyway.

alright im debating on getting them sprayed instead of using the lamin-x.
Only thing i need help with is if i should do reverse cut-out or just full black.

Does anyone have pics of a BO with full blacked out tails and one with full blacked out w/ reverse cut-out.

Im gonna go try and find some.
