I think I might have located where the rattle source is...

When sitting in the drivers side and listening to heavy bass/ driving over bumps I hear rattling coming from the right.. I then shift my head to the center.. then I hear the rattling coming from both sides.. left and right.. I then put my hand on the top trim surrounding the dome lights and pressed against it.. and voila no more.. rattle..

Anyone experience this? Any easy DIY solution or is this a dealer fix?

i think it's the plastic around the maplights lights, or it seems to stop as soon as i apply pressure there

lol i get rattles sometimes and it's impossible to find the source.. bummer.

 

here's an idea, turn the bass down

 

might be a hangin wire inside....who knows...i found a few small rattles and odd noises in my car on sunday and took care of em...im noise free for now..haha

 

Why should he turn down the bass? They shouldn't make it that strong if it's gonna cause stupid f***ing noises everywhere....I have that rattle in the moonroof too....
