^ I think sparco's fall under the "high end" category.

There's also Netami, Fuzion and some other less known racing seats manufactures. I like the velocity's.

tenzo sucks. sorry. those are not racing seats. I would look into Recaro, Bride (if not tracking). Also, if you do a recaro let me know, i got a bracket available for it.

I got the Tenzo-R seats with the carbon fiber backing. Haven't seen them in the car yet. It is still in LA getting prepped for SEMA. We chose those seats because we were offered a VERY good deal. Also the hood, trunk, roof, and all the interior trim is carbon fiber... so they match. I don't really think of them as "Racing" seats. Just something different to compliment the rest of the CF mods.

I wouldnt buy cheap seats, they are what hold you in the car when you crash.

seats are for safety. if you change something but compromise your safety is it worth it? i used to rock Brides but changed to recaro b/c of recaros reputation in motor sports. whether u do it for looks, function etc Safety first. Also, make sure these are safe with regular seat belts or you get the correct belts and bars.

Again, would only do things that are track worthy b/c that means they are crash worthy. Tenzo's are not test worthy IMO

Status racing was my first choice but they don't recline :-(
The car isn't a daily anymore so safety isn't a big concern to me. However, I do have a 4-point race harness setup from NRG.
Going for comfort and style rather than safety. But I still have all the stock parts if I don't like it so it's all good.
