I have a Blue Slate '08 G37S without any major mods. I really like the classy elegant look of the un-modded G; most aftermarket add-ons make the car look less expensive and less classy in my opinion. However, I would love to add a little something to the headlights to jazz it up a bit at night. The Ironman looks absolutely amazing, and I think can be done while keeping the elegant look of the G without getting "ricey."

Is it possible to do the Ironman mod while leaving all the paint inside the housing OEM? All I want to do is add the LED's around the housing and remove the amber. And is it possible to get plain white LEDs, with perfectly color-matched city lights and headlights?

Anyone have pictures of Blue Slate with the Ironman mod? Anyone have the Ironman mod without painting anything inside the housing?

X-Vert, thanks!! I saw those pictures when I ran a search. Were those housings completely OEM? Which color LEDS are they?

I replaced all my interior lights with "Cool White" LEDs from SuperBrightLEDs. Is your mod a similar color?

 

His housing on that car are OEM, and he removed the amber, that's it.

 

Thanks ChOy BoY!! I guess now all I have to do is wait for it to snow so I can get my 4Runner out of storage and try to take apart my G... Would that be an opportune time to match my city lights to the LEDs in the Ironman? Or should I wait until I get the Ironman installed before I try to match colors?

You wouldn't happen to know where to get that lip kit from, or how much it costs, would you?
