Tinted Windshield?
Well the fact that you think you cant handle it is your own problem, and the same reason why you dont have your windshield tinted. But from personal experience, the windshield or any of my other windows does not hinder my driving capablitly one bit, and for that reason is why I keep it on. Regardless of what exams youve taken it all has to do with the drivers ability to drive and focus, so if you think I have neither, continue ... your very entertaining
BTW, in that I have an instrument rating I can fly an airplane without looking outside at all so I can certainly “handle” it.
the main reason y tint is illegal in ny, is because people where shooting cops..cops rolling up to the car..they caint see in they would roll down the window and shoot..( thats from what i heard)..inncidents like that..nothing about visibility..
And why tint is legal for those that are perscribed? Bc it strains the light going into the car.. ex..strong sun..when ur squinting..everyone knows how that feels..or oncoming traffic at night, ***gots rolling around with there high beams..
o yeah and did i forget to mention, that its looks ridic?

As for the OP with his windshield tint made legal via a doctor’s note, I still believe we would all be better served if he removed the tint and just wore sunglasses during the day. That should prevent any need to squint. But that’s his choice and there’s nothing more that can be done.
May I add that I’ve been driving a long, long time, probably starting before you were born, and was taught to briefly look away from some inconsiderate driver's high beams coming at you. I’ve managed quite well and never thought that 20% on my windshield was a better way.
With that it’s rather late and this old man is going to bed.
