What should I do about this slight problem....

So, my friend's dad is a mechanic. I wanted to install my injen CAI, and I talked to my friend about it, and he said his dad could do it free of charge. So I'm pretty ecstatic about it, since I know a lot of members here said it was a PITA to install, and I am completely knew I could not do it by myself. I was too naive... so I brought my car to his dad's shop and we left, and I came back to pick up the car. I didn't expect anything to be wrong with the car, it looked pretty good superficially, but today I inspected the car, and the front bumper wasn't even put in correctly... It was put in, but not all the way, and additionally, the passenger side bumper that connects to the hood was cracked... so I was like uh... this sucks already.

1. I asked my friend to do it, and his dad did it free of charge, so I can't really go back and say hey, you broke this, you have to fix it, his dad did it free of charge, and I shouldn't complain about having him spend a few hours installing it. Now I have learned my lesson. I should really be careful next time.
2. What should I do about this? Is it repairable? Or should I have to replace the whole front bumper? How much would this cost about?

Here are the pictures:sorry they are pretty crappy, but this was the best I could do...

his dad knows he did it. no way you could do that and not notice it when putting the bumper back on

He did it for free. What was that a 2 hr job? I would just let it go, maybe let the father know the car was damage but I wouldn't ask for anything.

CAI are also overrated. The stock intake already takes in cold air. Just change the filter to a less restrictive one. CAI's also gets dirty much faster. Since it sits real low and isn't protected by an outer case like the OEM intake.

You don't need a new bumper. They can fix that with a some light body work and a new paint job. But a new bumper, if it's pre-painted would be a lot faster if you can get one.

My doesn't have a crack it just pops out, I thought I did while doing my grill but that's false, the shop where I got my angel eyes done didn't put the bumper on fully, and it's been 3-4 months now, do you think it's too late to say something?

Dang, that sucks... especially since he did it for free, so you can't really say anything... I guess its worth a mention though?

I hope everything works out for you
