Rear Valance
Go paint ... If its a really good shop then 450.00 is a steal .. I am too worried about shady shops .. Ill be painting my roof soon .. It just looks a lot better ..
450 just for roof seems steep imo. Many good shops down in NY do the roof for 300 or so. My friend got is c63 black roof/tails/grill/clear on mirrors all gloss black for like 550. And its a clean *** job.
But hey you wanna paint it for 450 go ahead =)

it does but he didnt get it as an option, prob a wait or something. He actually saw my roof overlay and that convinced him to get a black roof either it be overlay or paint.
but he painted.
im sure he cut him a little deal, since he brought like 2 cars there before he did his car, but still a way better price then 450.

What kind of paint do they use?

Ok guys, i installed my valance today.
I messed up on the driver side area near the liscense plate, it was all bubbley and stuff, so i thought i had to cut it around the plate, which i didnt need to. So i had to cut another piece off my old one and place it there so up close it looks retarted.
On the passanger side it came out perfect, once you know what your doing its pretty simple. In order for it to look flush around the plate, i just poked a whole in the huge bubble and it looked perfect (which andy tells you to do in the instructions he sends..stuiped me).
Im pretty happy with it, maybe in the fall spring ill buy another right driver side and redo it, but its ok as of now.

I commend you on applying the Overlay yourself Vinny, looks great!

Now, getting to the topic of the overrlay not coming flush with the splash gaurds. The groove on the valence itself does not meet up with the splashgaurd, it comes alittle short. Its just a matter of moving the overlay closer to the groove when applying. Now, I'm in vacation from teaching after Friday, I'll look at the overlay and look at making a slight adjustment to that area
