5x8 trailer with 08 r6 can the g37 tow it?

well basically i was looking up some stuff and i found that they made class 1 hitches which can tow like 1500lbs on the g35 anyone seen this in action? i was looking on some BMW forums and some dudes tow 2 bikes and a trialer on a 3 series.. but basically i have a 5x8 trailer which is 667 lbs and my r6 is 366 lbs dry wieght which i would be leaving it dry , so under 1000 lbs you guys think the G37 could do it? if i was to get some custom hitch or seomthing like the g35s

thanks ahead for your feedback..

eh, whatever, you got to do what you go to do. I'm thinking of how to carry my bicycle and thinking of going with a small hitch just so i don't have to worry about roof racks again or the dumb trunk mounted ones. a small hitch can be made to look very unoticeable, and with the yakima setup i don't have to worry about my bikes or the racks scratching the car.

You should be able to do it. We don't have as much torque like a BMW but it should be enough to move a small trailer. Hell, if a little ford ranger could why couldn't a more powerful G?

the car will haul it. I had a 5x8 trailer that I hooked up to my 89 sentra and could carry 1/4 yard of crushed gravel with it. If you need to the car will towe it.

Don't listen to them, do what you gotta do. Here's the specs on the 08 G37

2008 Infiniti G37 Coupe
Gas Mileage: 18 mpg city / 24 mpg highway
Engine: 6 Cylinder, 3.7 Liter, 330 HP
Wheels: Alloy Wheels, 18-In. X 8-In.

I assume that's in pounds (lbs).
