I just got my car today installed. The problem is that if you were to look at the spoiler from beside the passenger or driver door, you can see the tape underneath the spoiler, a whiteish layer that the tape was used to stick the spoiler on. Is this how the factory ones are installed or look like? Can someone post pics of that angle from a g37 with spoiler from the factory?

Yeah i thought i inspected everything too, the backup cam, the reflector light, the paint matching, the sturdiness... then i drove home happy. got home, closed my door and looked back, and noticed the adhesive pad underneath it was kinda whiteish... it doesn't look THAT bad, but just wondering how the factory ones were done if it doesn't have it.

i've gone over my factory installed spoiler, and the gap is too small to see any foam tape.

Metro Infiniti in Monrovia. I bought the car and part of the deal was to include a spoiler in it.

Speedracer G37 - It's a small gap, but you CAN see the tape ya?

Sounds less like the tape and more like the template used to align the spoiler. The double sided tape is black that comes on it.

It's about a quarter of a centimeter thick if that. And it's ALL black? it could be the case on the sticky parts of it, but the thicker part of it was definately whiteish.
