Left window pop

My left window when I lower it, makes a single pop noise internally...Like halfway down it does it. Each time it happens...It does not pop on the way up. The right window doesnt do it. Anyone have this issue? The whole window reset thing does not affect it btw....Think this is worth warranty work?

Yep, worth the work. The window should not behave that way. It will not get any better on it's own not to mention that it doesn't exhibit the behavior of a entry-level luxury car. It might get louder and embarrassing. Fix it now or pay for it once the warranty has expired.

yeah....*sigh* good call...ill claim it when i go to get my muffler fixed...gotta call my tech supervisor tomorrow to give them a heads up on it so they know i have a double whammy...as a luxury car our G's are entry level but as a performance coupe i'd say its in the midrange an entry level performance coupe would be like the rsx type s

anyways back to the OP if anyone else has this window pop lemme know i just am curious if its just me

lol...we played better hockey that night outshot the Pens by like 20-30 shots on goal...rallied to score 3 unanswered goals to go up.....34 seconds from the Stanley Cup and bam! Penguins goal & OT....3OT and you guys stole the win...veryy impressive to hang on...

i really want a home win for the stanley cup so best of luck to the penguins game 6...i know our guys can take care of business in Detroit game 7....outdoor celebrations on a saturday night game in detroit will be well worth the wait!!!! besides after the Pistons blew it with the Celts I think we deserve a championship elsewhere

As for the Penguins puck in my window - if I find it in there I'll mail it to u as a souvenir

for sure it will be a good idea to check, it's covered under warranty, so why not have it checked?

DetroitG37Joe, did you take your car in yet to get this fixed? I just got this problem yesterday. Was driving in to the garage and when I rolled down the window to use my pass card, all of a sudden I hear this clunk sound. Almost like something popping in the door frame. It only happens on window down not up and on the driver side. I'll be taking this in as well as it happens everytime now, but just wanted to see what they did for you.

Orbie I am at 3,400 miles and approaching my first oil change. I plan on taking the car in for the muffler replacement, oil change, and to look into the left window pop all at once. Unfortunately that will probably be in about 1-2 weeks. I will be sure to let you know what they say. Otherwise if you wanna take yours in go right ahead and let me know what the diagnosis is. Is yours also just the driver side? Mine is driver side only.

Yeah mine is driver side only as well. I'm thinking it's only because I use that window the most. In time I would think the same would happen to the passenger with more use...

I'm taking mine in for second oil change now so I'll do both items and let you know what happens.

Orbie Im at the Infiniti dealership right now as we speak. They ordered what's called a "Window regulator" and they are fixing it right now. 2 hour job they say. I am now on their $hitty WiFi that has a content filter which blocks checking e-mail.

Did you fix yours yet?
