I want to replace my HID bulbs because stock bulbs are too yellow IMO.

How much importance should I put into the brand of the bulbs?

I know Philips are good but damn expensive. On ebay I see mtec and mccolloch and I know some here have used mccolloch and are happy.

What brands are good but don't break the bank?

They sell only Philips bulbs and the prices are extremely reasonable. I've bought from this site before and NEVER had any problems.
