the first time i brought it up i talked to my salesperson who said they had to speak with the service manager.
Second time i spoke directly with the service manager who told me they wouldnt fix it.
So then i called infiniti and they (i assume) demanded bommarito (my dealership) replace the seat.

Went into the dealership. The service lady said she'd have to take some pictures and send it in to Infiniti to see what happens but she said they'd most likely have to order me a new seat, which requires approval from Infiniti. Gonna get back to me in a week. Hopefully everything will go smoothly, I don't want to have to call Infiniti myself. But if that's what it takes........

yeah, see my service department wouldnt even talk to infiniti. The manager said "if i deem its not a warranty issue, then thats that." I was so pissed; i mean, even if he THINKS infiniti wont fix it, the least he could do is ask them for me. What does he have to lose? So anyway, If you missed my last post, I called infiniti who then called my dealership and apparently told them to replace my seat because my dealer called me the next day saying they would replace it.

So when I go in, I'm going to wait until they replace my seat, make sure its BRAND NEW and not off some loaner car, and then complain and ask them why they didnt do it in the first place..

"Shouldn't you, as the service manager, know all warranty issues?" "Arent you supposed to represent ME to Infiniti instead of me having to go through them just to get something minor done?"

And if they wash my car this time (like last time EVEN THOUGH I TOLD THEM NOT TO) I'm going to complain to Infiniti again.

OH and even more proof to how Bommarito West County STL Sucks. My friend had a model Recall on his 2000 QX4 for some filter or gas leakage or something. He took it in to bommarito(whatever the problem was it caused a gas smell through the AC vents) and a week later he still had the same gas smell. I told him to call bommarito and if they were *******s about it, then to call Infiniti directly and complain.

I really hope this dealer gets some heavy reprimands.

Yea I'd definitely bring my experience to Infiniti's attention if I were you. Good luck.

Done. It seems this turned out very well. I'm going to demand they compensate me somehow. The dealership is about 30-40 minutes away and is really not a convenient trip to make. Do you guys think I could get something like a free oil change out of it? I'm not due for another 2k miles or so, but I really do feel like they should do something extra since they screwed up so much.
