Umm UGLY as F**K? (pics)

so i got my TS hood put on last night.. he saw that it was good quality and told me why would i paint it.. so he said i should drive with it for a few days and see how i like it.. so far i driven it twice and i hate it.. opinions? i was planning on painting it white and leave the vents carbon fiber but the painter at the body shop was saying he could have trouble on the 3rd vent at the top since there is no cutoff line or w/e. I wanted him to kinda fade it in with the CF but it doesn't look like he knows how to do it. So go all white? or take it a diff body shop to do white with faded CF vents?

Not the best pics.. took them with my cell phone.

Also another thing i noticed is if i painted the hood white, the sides of the hood and where the body meet is a huge gap. Im gonna have a HUUUGEEE hood line i think

A body shop can help you out on the line man. It takes tweaking the fenders and massaging the hood but they'll make it work. Pending fitment is close, I'll bet they can get it to look "stock".

no the fitment is good, just not like stock of course.. you dont notice it now because its black but if the hood were white i would have a 2cm hood line all the way around.. I"ll take a couple more pics when i go out for lunch

The hood is beautiful, looks wayy better in person than in pics.. i didn't even wanna get it but i'm glad i did.

Na... take it off... horrible... then ... um send it to me!!! LOL

Theres really no need to get the CF hood if your goin to paint it... just think on it for a few days and you will think of something or a scheme to make it work...

and from what I have read all CF hoods take a lil work to fit prefect... some more than others....

but... CF...MMMMMmmmmm

well i think u should paint it and leave the vents , since that's wut u wanna do, imo it'd look awesome gl with it, always a headache when things dont go as planned

so u can fit a penny in that gap? like longways haha, maybe get one friend to stand on oneside, and u on the other side when the hood is popped open, and pull!!

I'm not a fan of the dark hood but if you want it painted white with the vents left carbon fiber, find a paint shop that has the skills to do what you want. Don't let their inexperience limit what you want.
