PolarG vs. PIAA fog lamp replacement
PolarG vs. PIAA fog lamp replacement
I'm gonna change the fog light on my G, and want some advice from my fellow G owners!
I am deciding between these two brands and am going for a very yellow look, similar to the old IS300. Which of these choices do you all think is the better product? I am looking for the H1 size correct?
Thanks

This is the right bulb (H1) for our g's fogs but does anyone know how the color matches with our headlights?

Standard HID bulb color is 4300k. When it colorshifts it should be closer to around 5000k. It won't be as white as your fogs though if that's what you want. It'll be like normal halogen headlamps, but with less yellow. If anything a 5000k halogen bulb will be closer. But since the blue coating is thicker, you're sacrificing light output. 3000k bulbs will be a nice jdm contrast. It'll be yellow yellow

Sorry that was towards Taktix.
As per your question, I'd say go with PIAA. Polarg is good but the light out put isn't as good as PIAA. Only things the lifespan for PIAA's are either good or ridiculously short. A trade off to keep in mind. Bulbs do add up over time as well.
I don't have a G yet but another option is to run HID's in the foglights. I currently am running 3000k HID's in my fogs and it makes a world of difference. Not sure if it'll fit in the housing but they do make H1 kits. Just a thought...

I ordered the Piaas and am waiting for them to come in. After seeing the pic above, I am glad that I did. I'm looking forward to installing them and seeing how they look in person. How hard was the install?

I know Raybrig makes a nice 5000k bulb. But mines blew out in about 6 months or so.
