Yes and it sucks. It's one of the dozens of little details on an otherwise tremendous car that makes me scratch my head and ask 'WTF?"

i guess when you are driving in the dark, you would need to lock your doors, so they made it easier for you to lock your doors in the dark?

I just wish that when you get out of the car with the keyfob to go in somewhere, that it would lock it's self.

that's kind of a weird detail to leave out. What does that save, like 5 cents? I guess if you multiply that out by thousands of cars.....

Looks like someone needs to come out with a light mod for this.

well, to be fair, it is one button. if you find the lock part, you can find the unlock park by moving your finger ever so slightly lower on the same button.

True. But the same logic also holds that if they can illuminate half the button, they could just illuminate the whole thing while they're in there at no additional cost. There is no reason I can think of not to light the whole button. Has anyone ever driven or even seen another car with illuminated lock buttons with only half of it illuminated and not the whole thing? I haven't.

well, this one is not as bad as not having a light for the garage openers. By the way, how come there is no light indicator for the fog lamp???
