I know they are selling the OEM spoiler, but that is not an accessory spoiler. An accessory spoiler is one that comes painted, with the brake light included and is available when you call any infiniti dealer.

The OEM spoiler Jason is selling is a "workaround" to getting a spoiler and costs somewhere in the neighborhood of $1200.

It doesnt come painted and It doesnt come with a brake light

So, I suggest, YOU read all the posts before posting, and stop acting like you know whats goin' on

why don't you settle down. for a member who has 56 posts and joined four months ago, you have a lot of attitude. you have no idea what you are writing about. i don't know what you think the an "accesory" spoiler is, or why you would even call it that, but an oem spoiler is an oem spoiler. they may eventually have it prepainted from the factory, they may not. however, the parts department of your local infiniti dealership will tell you whatever you want to hear to apease you. if you want a factory spoiler, currently these are the steps you have to take. as i have stated to the o.p., he should wait and get the car he wants because as of now, if he wants a factory spoiler installed after purchase, it is going to be a pain. if you have helpful information to post, post it, don't comment for the sake of commenting.

edit: where did you get $1200 from. the spoiler and factory 3rd brake light is a total of around $550. he has also stated that he could eventually have it painted before shipping.

Spoiler with brake light: $460 Shipped to your door...
Does that include paint? (AG)
I can probably get it painted for you... It would be an additional $300 for our body shop to do it... :-/

460 unpainted plus 300 to paint...760...plus install..not sure how thats going to equal "around 500" prob take it to 1000. My infiniti quoted me 1200....

and for speedracerg35 who has 242posts and that makes him so much greater than everyone else, I didnt know that amount of posts you make are directly tied to how much attitude you can carry...

I saw ur post, suggesting I need to read posts before posting, and provided my experiences with infiniti...

"said NOPE ordered one that was installed factory waited 3 months was a happy man in november."

I think the purpose of this thread was to address people who want to add on a spoiled AFTER they purchased the car....

Also, according to the infiniti site, the APR financing deals are for dealer in-stock only. I'm not sure if dealers are able to give 1.9/2.9% financing on ordered cars. The difference between 2.9% and 5.5% financing adds up to a spoiler and then some!

thats exactly why i got mine without spoiler because it wasnt ordered
plus my qouted APR if i were to order the one i wanted was 6.9% *ouch*
anyhow i hope they come out with one already painted... i would hate to get the unpainted and have a "shop" not have it colormatch right.

i don't know where you are, but most dealerships are willing to do a dealer exchange if they find a car within a reasonable distance. my dealership did a dx with a dealership in north carolina for the g35 i wanted 2 years ago. this way, you can try to get the car you want and still get it in time for the low factory rate.

also, i completely sympathize with your situation. i started looking for a g37 in early september of last year. i wanted a factory installed spoiler on an lp 6mt sport/nav/premium. ended up waiting until the end of november for the exact car i wanted. luckily, cash incentives and factory financing was being introduced at that time. however, two days after i signed for the car, the cash incentive went from $500 to $1000. i guess what i'm saying is that financing may still be offered when you find your car. weigh the costs and benefits and figure out exactly what you can live with.

So I had already been trying to dealer locate from the very beginning - but my dealer was unable to find anything even remotely close-by. Well finally they found what I had been looking for!

Thanks to everyone for the replies.
