Yeah I have bro, two times... In my 04 G sedan, I had her tinted 5% twice and both times within 4-6 months- freakin sirens... Mainly because she was so dark on the front windows. I had to have the tint taken off both times and so for the last year that I had my car, I had limo in the back and nothing in the front. Thats why I'm a little apprehensive to get my G37 tinted now. Anways so when you go to tint shops, a weird phenomena often happens where you just see other cars w/ dark tint so you decide to go darker than you wanted to initially. In my opinion, 20% will have a 25-30% chance of attracting attention whereas something like 35% will have little or no chance (unless its a ***** cop). You also don't want your car to look like a black box since the whole car is already "black." Stick within 20-35%, with the latter being less of a reason to get pulled over in a b i t c h i n hot brand new car.

 

If your in the So Cal area I know of two places Whittier Tint Shop (WTS) and California Tint (Rosemead). I have heard many great things about these two tint shop. Was thinking about taking my car to get tinted tomorrow. Have the day off tomorrow. Thank you President Lincoln
