8000K or 10000K????

Ive never had HID Xenon lights on a car and was wondering which output of HID's would be best for my Athens Blue ive seen several pictures of the 8000k and the 10000k and cant really seam to lean towards one and was wondering if here in SoCal there is a law against the brightness of your HID's and some personal opinions on the looks, safety, and electrical problems (if any) would really be appreciated...thanks

You will see less light on the road with 8000k and 10000k when compared to stock. 4300k>8000k>10000k

5000 to 6000 would give you a nice white light with a very slightly bluish tint that would still produce lots of usable light output. 8000 to 1000 will be colored and not give you much light output especially in bad weather.

Depending on where you live, expect to be hassled by cops if you go too high. Having blue/purple headlights is going to get some attention...the wrong kind.

I have 6000k and it feels like I need to turn on my yellow (stock) fogs on some times. I am not sure if its normal or is it because there is snow every where thats making me think other wise.

I personally would not go any higher than 6K for safety purposes.
