I have been looking for a non-metallic tint to put on the G37 and was recommended to look at 3M Color Stable.

However, when I call a shop asking if they have it.....I get the "Hell no" or "No way" response. So I bite and ask why....and I get all kinds of storys but its along the same lines. Crappy film, horrible shrink, ect.

I even found one shop in Lewisville that in fact does 3M but highly recommends against it.

So what are the better window tints? I had Llumar on my last vehicle and had no issues with it. I want to black out the rear 3 windows/windshield strip and put the front two at legal limit.

Any recommendations? Quality DFW shops? Thanks!

+1 for Huper Optik. Its F***in expensive, paid 400 for mine, but it is the classiest tint around.

 

i just went with madico charcool. no problems

and only $180

 

Huper Optik's clarity is awesome! Glad I had them installed, worth every penny.
