has anyone had to replace the bottom half of their front bumper? if so, how much did the repair cost ... or does anyone have an idea of how much it should cost? BLAH

 

Bottom half? Huh? A bumper is one piece. You either replace it entirely or nothing at all. A bumper should run you around $350-400 unpainted

800ish all said and done. just got a quote, some a-hole backed into my car while i was at work.

 

same thing happend to me ... except im not sure who it was. anyways, I don't really want to go through the insurance co. becuase it the beginning of Jan i get my good driver discount back. I gotta pay $256 a month right now, and my ins lady said that would be cut in half, so I think that it would be better to just pay outta pocket and suck it up?

 

i think that they might be able to bang out the dent and repaint the bumper ... ???

 

^^I thought the bumper was plastic! No banging it out if it is. It is way to cold for me to go out and check but when I had a guy look over my car for a clear bra quote he told me that the bumper could be skipped since it is mad out of plastic and it might be cheaper just to repaint it if it gets chipped.

lady backed into me too...i got the estimate from the dealer and they are talking $3000(parts and labor)...i needed a new headlight too...funny thing was...i was PARKED too!!!

i would have.... unfortunately the cop got to the scene a little too quick...doesnt matter tho...its all her fault so her insurance is taking care of it....but what an eyesore for me....
