Who has changed their Parking/City Lights?
If you have changed your parking/city lights, could you please post pictures of an AFTER image and name the lights you purchased?
Thanks!

funny...i just changed them about an hour ago. i put sylvania silverstars (4k) and white vleds. i'll post pics asap, but let me tell you what concerns me. the connector for the citylights do not allow the vleds to insert securely (the plastics surrounding the connetion butts up against the vled). i'm concerned that the vled will fall out from road vibration, leading to me having to remove the headlight to fish out the vled. anyone have a similar experience?

total install time was about a half hour. the passenger side is the tougher side to do because of the windshield washer fill tube. the airboxes come out with 1 bolt and remove the box from the tube to get it completely out of the way. you will come away from the experience with scrapes on your knuckles and hands.

the fogs are sylvania silverstars, and the citylights are vleds (ultra white, not blue, but they have a blue hue).
edit: forgot to mention that the leds are inverted cones. they spread out the light in the housing.

these are the 4-LED bulbs from superbrightleds.com. they were leftovers from my interior bulb changeout.

I had leds from superbrightleds.com in my Scion tC. Burned out in about a month. He said it's not meant for the headlight housing.

Bummer! Wonder how did Lexus achieve using LEDS for their license plate on their IS series?

the plate leds should be fine. led's do not do well with heat. the heat from the foglights affects the lifespan of led bulbs.

So your city lights are LEDs correct? Do our city lights come on with the fogs or no?

I have PIAA Xtreme White fogs too, but I haven't taken pictures of them yet.
