i'm sure it is possible, but i'm sure their would be some prep work to do it since it paint wouldn't stick directly to it.

Probably easier to just buy a spoiler.

i agree the previous gen looked better spoiler less but the 37 has a rift/ridge in the trunk that makes the trunk look almost erect and skinny without the spoiler so me personally i think the spoiler looks tight...

This is definitely possible. Just a lil' sanding and using the right paint and clear.

I read that BlueBat is making an overlay for the chrome spoiler. U whould stick around for that. Cheaper and easier option.

I also hope someone makes a real carbon fiber cover for the spoiler. That would look sick!

yes it can be done. Went by my friends body shop to have some things painted and he was trying to talk me into painting the chrome piece.

I think the G35 looks horrible without a spoiler and the G37 looks horrible with one! I deffinately like the new back with the chrome lip, no need for any paint or additional spoilage.

I agree, more options in the future. In the meantime, the chrome lip will do just fine. It's sorta the G's signature along with the clock.
