Wait you guys are saying theres some clear bra put on from Factory on all G37's?
Some stealerships give you an option to put it on for you. Mine wanted to charge somewhere around 1200 for it. Its mostly likely done off site at some place and the stealership marks up the price like mad.
Clear bra on the front bumper is a good idea. It eliminated many minor chips that woould have build up over time on my old G35 coupe. I also had it installed on teh bumper of my new black g37s. In my opinion, I would not do the hood, especially over black. Even if it is installed flawlessly, you still lose depth of the fnish. On a lighter color ot may not be as bad. Good Luck!
Yeah, I have black - worried about it being more visible there. i was thinking only the bumper.
Haha, I don't understand why so many people would rather take a chip on the hood than have a hardly noticeable line that protects your car. You only really see it if you try to, otherwise it's not that visible from far away.
This is definitely going to be my next investment. I'm still looking for recommendations for installers in the LA/OC/IE area....and I'm definitely interested in a group buy if we can get one together. I think some dude on the G35 forum is trying to form a group (thread is in Socal region area).

I dont see why you would put the Bra on, even if you get a few chips from the road you still gotta paint the front when you remove the Bra which makes no sense!!

I THINK its called clear paint protection for a reason, to protect your front end from small chips, i don't see why you have to paint it again if you have this done. Well Not unless you hit something big enough.
