You can turn your wheels and go in through each wheel well

yeah you have to do it just like the g35... take off your wheel and pull back the fender wall. From there you will have access to all lights. I will tell you the city light is a pain! Headlights are a sinch though

if you look in the factory service manual, it advises to remove the complete head lamp assembly and then remove the bulbs...

They tell you to take it to a dealer because they dont want some dumbass to mess with it while its pulled up and get shocked by like 30k volts...

Alright.. so I think its a general consensus that the wheelwell is the way to go for the headlights. I was throwing on my winters today and I thought I'd take a peek at the back of headlight housing -- I popped off 3 clips and tried prying the fenderwall lining back but I couldn't. The upper part is tucked underneath yet another stiff fenderwall lining piece, and along the sides its tucked fairly well also..

For those who have successfully gone thru the fenderwall, what am I doing wrong?
- Is there something I need to unscrew to further loosen the lining? or do i just need brute force to pull it out and back?
- of the 3 clips I numbered, do all need to be removed? (I figured that for those left ur wheel on... im guessing only #1 was removed?

you failed to notice the clips on the fender lip. you can see the profile of the screws in your pic.
