A quality front end lip, maybe fiberglass, will look real good on the G37 Coupe can you guys let me know when a good one hits the market. I want to paint it OB and slap it on my car asap.

Ahuja man I had such a hard time pickin between Athens Blue and OB - it was the sporty look versus the sleek/classy look. I ended up goin OB but man do I wish I could cruise around on the Athens Blue on a sunny summer day!

I applaud your choice though If im not mistaken Athens Blue is the rarest color and more limited in production. I bet you haven't seen many on the road.

BTW how's the Fujita treating you? Do you have video/audio clips of the before and after - sound wise? If so Id love for you to email me that because I still don't know if I am gonna do an intake - so many people are sayn the stock dual intake is already close to optimally tuned and that aftermarket is strictly for noise.....

Joe man... yea, i wanted a new color... something i never owned before. So blue it was... can never go wrong with black tho, so not bad urself.

As for sound clips of the intakes... i have extensive before and after clips with multiple drive-bys and all. I just been SO busy lately (bought a townhome which is under construction and almost done) so all i have is the 30 minutes or so of RAW video.

I will try to edit it all together and post on youtube by the end of the week as others have been asking me, and are looking to buy also.

As for performance... i noticed ZERO gains. I went to the track, and got the same 1/4 mile time. Then i RESET the ECU, and drove hard for a week... but then both track days got rained out, so still waiting.

Perhaps the gains are there from a roll... but i dont have a way to test that, and no dyno for me yet.

However, it def sounds badd @$$ after 3K RPM... all my friends get scared when i rev at them and say it sounds like a beast.
My GF heard the bfr and after in person and says now it sounds like an animal.

However, i swear i cant hear my exhaust anymore, just the intakes. =(
Now i wanna maybe remove exhaust resonators or something to make the stock exahust louder.

 

JP vizage will hve a kit out at the sema show in the mackin booth and it will be ready for production in about 1-2 weeks.

If you guys do hit up JP, Please name drop Vik for me. Even though I am not going his route, doing full kit, I want him to know that i am getting his name out there. The main dude's name is Masiya and he has his 335 at sema, MAN ITS HOT!

Good luck and the AB is the only way to go for me. I couldn't see myself buyign this car at all until i saw the AB. Love it love it, love it.

I would wait for sometime on the intake. Let the aftermarket get a full grasp on products, researching them and then developing them for max. gains.

I used to be the guy to get intake nd exhaust first, but I am assuming taht Nissan knows a little bit more than me and did a few more days of research to get the #'s the G37 makes.

 

I'll have the JP kits in 2 weeks. Kit looks amazing !

there are a lot of JDM compaines that have lips coming out. personally i am waiting for the top secret bumper
