They will fit, but LEDs dont last long next to a heat source like the H1 fog bulb. I am just getting regular filament bulbs, your mileage may vary...

 

today i popped off the fujita cone filters and got to the rear of the headlight housing. quarter turn on the parking light module and it pulls right out. replaced the stock filament bulbs with a couple of 4LED bulbs i had left over from my interior LED swap. i think it looks a lot better, but they make my stock HIDs look yellow :-/

i'm wondering if 6000k HID bulbs will better match those led city lights

 

fogs are still yellow as they're a different bulb. i'll leave them alone as i don't want to mess with the functionality of it. foglights are usefull here sometimes.

 

i was talking bout swwapping the headlight bulbs for 6000k...i think that might match those leds better....i think our cars have 4300k or 5000k

 

if you do that and do not change the fog lights also the fogs are going to look much more yellow then they do now....

 

of course...which is why i plan on changing all of them (headlights,city lights, fog lights) just dont know how much heat the housing can handle...previous G35 was able to handle quite a bit

 

PepBoya has Sylvania Silverstar H1 (i think) bulbs on sale for $20 after rebate. I was gonna replace the fogs with that at least.

I just installed my Fujita intakes, and while in the process, replaced the city lights with some PIAA "H.I.D" lights which are also used for my license plate.

Will post pics, vids, sound clips of all that tonight.

 

so how fricken hard was it to get to the city light on the passenger side for you? it was like f'in murder for me. my hands are large, and because of the windshield wiper fluid, it was extremely difficult to squeeze in there.

 

O M F G! YES. Insanely hard... same boat here. What i did was removed the plastic clip holding the windsheild washer resevoir down... this gave me more wiggle room... but OUCH!

 

i changed both the fogs and city light to a 6000k fog light and what a diffrence front end looks so sweet at night so sick of the yellowish color all in all took about 20 mins to change it out but damn hated the passanger side

You just changed the City light and Fog... but what about the regular projector HID... those are 4000 something K, right? Doesnt it look mismatched?

 

Yah id think the 6000K fogs would be too blue next to the stock hids. I have 4750K MTECs and they are pushing into blue. I should have gotten 4350K ones.
