I recently installed ambient lighting on my g, i used fuse tap to tap into an existing fuse (i used the electric parts (ign) fuse), after some research i learned the fuse tap needed to be installed in a certain orientation for it to work as intended (it was working fine before i switched it). so i switched it and when i did that i heard a beep signaling "no key" the dash lights then began to flicker and the car will not turn on. i took the add a fuse out and reinstalled the original fuse but it still doesn't work, ign fuses are still getting power. can anybody help. P.S. in hindsight i should have used a different fuse and disconnected battery before playing with fuse so pls don't ream me out NOTE: i unplugged the battery for a bit and the car almost turned over but failed, the lights also weren’t flickering, thanks. I’m also 95% sure car was in ACC mode when i happened.

 

I would take a test light and check your fuses under the dash. Check them with car off for those getting constant power and for those that have a turn on, when push button is pressed to bring it to ACC position. Start there. Maybe check relays after that.
