nav screen distortion

Hello,

i have a 2009 G37 coupe with navigation, i have often on the central lcd display some sorts of distortion/fuzzing, but all equipements is wotking fine (radio, climate etc).
This issue happen only when the car is moving or when i displace the cursor on the Nav GPS map, when the car is stopped, there is no issue.

i found this topic with a similar problem:
https://www.myg37.com/forums/audio-v...av-screen.html

i'm trying to find how to acces to the part 25915-ju40a ( dvd player?), or to find someone who can help me with this issue .

Thanks

I can solve your problem easily. But it’ll cost you for $45.

Go on eBay and buy a new screen for $45.

Looking at the pics in that other thread I don't think its the screen. It's likely an issue with the AV unit itself.

25915-JU40A is your NAV controller. Keep in mind your car is EU-spec (France) so the setup and configuration is different than US-spec models. It sounds like the controller is not repositioning your map-matching data correctly. Whether that is the result of a bad module, faulty wiring, or corrupt data I do not know.

What do you need "access" to do? Remove or replace the unit?

Your best option would be to scour any junk yards or the internet (eBay, google, etc.) as "new" units are no longer available (these units are 10+ years old).

Do you need the NAV function? Is it something you use frequently? (In 10+ years I've never used it once, but that's me ) I ask, as you could try disconnecting the NAV module entirely and see how the display performs.

Unfortunately, for whatever reason, shop manuals for EU, GCC or even JDM-spec cars are not available online. I can't even begin to tell you what wires to check.
