So ever since I bought my 2013 G37x I've noticed that it had some previously installed remote start feature. When I press lock on my key 3 times, the lights flash and brake light engages. Unfortunately, that's where it stops and the car doesn't start. I'm assuming the previous owner disconnected the remote start or maybe removed something from the system before selling? What do youy guys think? Can I get it to work?

Look up the model of the remote starter and go through the instructions to find what is wrong. Likely a wire is loose. I installed a Dball2 I believe years ago and there were a lottt of connections.

 

Not a remote start expert here, but do you know what brand the starter system is? Any fishing under the dash should probably bring some results
