Infiniti G25 has power memory seat switch and seat cooling regulator?

Hello everybody, so when we were changing the door trim we saw some connectors that were the exact same as our Infiniti G35 (which we no longer have) power seats' memory switch.
Also in the seat temp regulator part we also saw some connectors that we think are for snow mode or AUX (which our G25 doesn't have). Is there a chance that we can use them, note that everything is connected so they are totally additional.

Do you have a memory seat option in your center display? I recall someone reset their head unit and had to go back to the dealer to get it reinitialized. If you don't maybe there is a way to get a switch in there and get the menu to appear some other way?

As far as snow mode goes I really couldn't tell you. There are no lights on the dash, just the snow mode switch to indicate it's on. I can't think of a way to see if its working other than to put it in the air and see if all 4 wheels spin at the same speed. (or, parking lot shenanigans)

Just throwing this out there... most manufacturers use the same wiring harness(es) across several models within the same line. This allows for different features/trim levels/accessory packages. In just about every car on the road there are always "mystery" connectors.

That said, just because a connector is there does not automatically mean that the assigned function will work. If a module is required but not installed and/or the software is not configured then likely the "upgrade" won't work. First, you have to identify what the connector is actually for.

In this case, specifically,
¹ the memory seats need the ADP (automatic driver position) module, switches, and various sensors which may/may not be preinstalled. The software also has to be configured as was mentioned by Conboss;
² AUX (RCA composite) input (OEM) does not work on USB equipped G's. The headunit is not wired for it and the software is not there (been there/tried that);
³ I cant speak for SNOW mode. I do not know what additional hardware/software might be needed;
⁴ I can guarantee you that your car DOES NOT have the "cooled seat" option. Except for the Convertible, no G model has cooled seats (which is basically just a fan mounted inside the seat). Heated, yes. Cooled, never.

I am not trying to discourage anyone. By all means you can try. Just fully understand what you are trying to do and understand the risks. And, obviously, if you muck up the works that is on you...
