I've had my 2011 G37 for about 5 years now and used an Ipod Touch 2 and 3 as well as a classic on it with only some occasional issues with reading the device. An unplug and plug solves that.

But now I have en entirely different issue. I recently tried to use a newer Ipod Touch 5 with IOS 9 on it and the Audio has very noticeable static and is skippy. The tracks play fine from the device directly to headphones or when played through the computer using the same cord so it's something between the car and the IPod. I suspect there's an issue between the IOS and the car's audio system. Is this a known issue?
