Ever since I bought my 08 coupe the memory seats never worked. The lights dont turn on. Even the button on the seat that allows it to move back to its position when moved forward, doesnt work.
I have changed out the physical buttons. Didn't work.
Today I replaced the driver memory control module, and that did not work. I can not think of anything else....
Please help.
did you unplug your batter and let it sit for like 30 mins?
Run an OBD2 scan?
This has been months of trying to figure out. I've deff had my battery unplugged before. And nothing shows on a ob2 scanner. But since I installed the new memory module should try unplugging the battery and resetting the systems?
There is a initialization procedure that has to be done anytime the battery is disconnected and/or the driver seat control unit is replaced. Worth a shot?
Hopefully this will help.
Alex
It says in step 1 and 2 that if you drive past 16mph itll reset the memory function. I've done that. As well as all the steps too, and still nothing..

Do any of the Seat Memory Switch buttons (SET, 1, 2) light up?
Fuse #10 (10AMP) provides power to the ADP (Automatic Drive Position) module, the DSCU (Driver Seat Control Unit), and the seat memory switch.
Fusible Link K (40amp) provides main power to the ADP and has a inline circuit breaker. If all of your seat functions operate normally than likely the link is good.
If the ADP, DSCU, and switch are receiving power from both circuits then the issue is with the ADP module, a fault in the UART (COM) lines or other, similar, wiring issue. The DSCU is controlled by the ADP module so hard to say if that was bad/good to begin with.
Without a CONSULT-3 scan tool the issue can not be pinpointed here. Fault codes for the ADP system are not accessible via typical OBD2 code readers.

I tried!

I'll take a look at those fuses. And who usually has access to consult 3 scan tools?

but you can try the NDSIII Lite app for free if you have a bluetooth OBD2 Reader with and ELM327 chip and it may be able to show you some Consult level codes...just make sure the ELM chip is real or it wont work (real ones cost about $20.00 ish)

I have the BACX products bluetooth scanner. I'll have that a shot as well if the fuses are good
