Another streaming solution that doesn't work

2009 G37s Vert, with the center console iPod connector cable deal.
Bought the Brite Link BlueTooth receiver that has the 30-pin connection.
BriteLink

Plugged in and powered up normally and even allowed me to pair the thing with my Android phone (Sony Xperia) without issue.
Shows the device as connected, but not sound comes from the stereo on the AUX selection.

The screen shows only display options (like I had a DVD player plugged in!
Anyone have any insight?

i think i'm having the same problem. but why are you in aux mode? you should be in ipod mode if you're connecting to the ipod cable.

my problem thread.

Actually, I meant to post back here. I tried to return the Brite Link and found it was "not returnable!"
But Amazon being Amazon, made good on it and credited me back for it 100%.

I then ordered this, which worked perfectly!
Etekcity BT adapter

So you are saying that Brite Link + Etekcity together work perfectly?

Nope. Toss the BriteLink, get the one I linked. It works just like I needed it too.
Only con is that you have to press the button every time you restart the car.

well, im happy to report, that CoolStream CarPro works perfectly.

Amazon Amazon

there are no buttons on it, and you pair it the first time you plug it in. sound quality is awesome, steering wheel controls work! everything i want it to be... less the display of song title/artist info.. it doesnt do that, but thats a small price to pay.. for $70, i'm very happy. probably very similar to bovee for a little less money!
