Voice recognition button

I have search multiple area on this forum along with web searches and have come up with only a few possible "fixes". I just purchased a 2013 G37 IPL convertible, so far I am enjoying the car and trying to get everything figured out. One item I am having issues with it the voice recognition button on the steering wheel, when I push it nothing happens. I know it will not work with the top down and one solution was to lower the top then raise put it back up tried that no change. I have been able to go into the setting do the voice training for all the command. I have change the setting for advanced back and forth with no luck. Bluetooth and hands free for my phone work fine. Is there a fuse somewhere to check? A sensor for top up / down to check? I have pressed and held the button for short and long periods of time and tried different command with no luck. I do not get the system beeping or asking for command. just silence. Is this something a tech would need to look at?

I would probably have the dealership look at it...could be something as simple as a loose connection in the steering wheel...however, I am certainly no expert.

Well after a lot of digging, and try fail repeat, ect I have found out incline makes a difference. I would open the top at work for the drive home and of course top down it is designed not to work. when I would get home I would raise the top parked in driveway on a slight incline. Then in the morning on the way to work no voice recognition. I raised and lowered multiple time but finally did it completely level after that it worked. As long as it is level when closed it works but even the slightest incline will cause it not to work.
