Like a lot of people here, I have my own share of problems of connecting my "stupid" smart phone LG G5 to the audio system on my Non Nav 2010 G37X.
It is time to upgrade my phone and I do not want to make the same mistake.

I would like to know from the members here which Android phones actually work with my car.
Has there ever been a list published indicating which phones do or do not work with the 2010 Non Nav G37X?

I know iphones work without a problem.
Why not Android?

Hard to say. I have a 2011 G37S sedan and both my former LG G2 and current Samsung S8 paired just fine with my car.

 

I have a 2011 and auto connect to my audio system works every time. No issues here with my Samsung s8

 

I have a 2009 G37x and it used to like my Lenovo Motorola MotoZ phone until an update last fall when it stopped talking to my car. I have never been able to get it to work since then despite several updates to the phone since then. Very frustrated with the phone. And yes, it will link to my daughter's Apple phone just fine so I know it is not the car.
