Hello, so i have an 08 Sport Coupe. My radio doesn't have Bluetooth so i have have to plug it in. I have the model with navigation/touchscreen.
My question is how difficult or if its possible to convert to a year model with navigation and Bluetooth (2010+)? Reason foe me creating my own posts is because ive only seen non-navi to navi conversion. Trying to stay away from getting aftermarket radio, mecca kit, etc.
I have some basic knowledge about how rewiring goes, if that would be the only problem.

 

It really makes no difference if you currently have NAV or not. Swapping to a 2010+ system will still require modification of the wiring harnesses and connectors. It is only a matter of comparing the FSM for both your car and the donors and mapping out what needs to be modified. For me, it was not difficult at all- but it can get very tedious at times because of the small gauge wires in such a small, confined space.

Doable? Yes. Worth it? That is up to you. My only regret was not doing it sooner but I had other goals in mind besides BT. There are tons of threads regarding the swap including a DIY.
