Tail-As-Turn (DD) w/ OEM Bulb?
Just installed my tail-as-turn kit from Diode Dynamics today. Love them, first of all - but was wondering if it would still be possible to keep the signal going to the original turn signal bulb simultaneously?
In the manual, DD describes that "This module will analyze two input signals, and output one combined signal. In recommended use, it analyzes the brake light and turn signal signals, and outputs one combined "high" signal, which will function as both the brake and turn signal."
I'm no electrician, so please call me out if this is totally wrong: it sounds like while there are wires tracking the signals the LED and HID bulbs put out, one of the wires may be cancelling the HID bulb specifically. Would it be as simple as cutting that specific wire so that, based on the images below, both sets of lights activate when the turn signal is on?
