Yes, could also be an update on GUI but if you dont have any info on my question I posted that's fine .

 

Had the 2015 update done to my '09 G37xS and wasn't impressed. Locations change so rapidly, the Infiniti update didn't seem to help much.

 

Yea I mainly use the car's NAV to get ETA and get me going in the right direction. Phone gets me where I need to go when I'm closing in. Haven't once been compelled to pay for the update, even with all the letters they send out. It's a behavioral thing

what yr is your car??? i believe 08-12 has been unsupported, last update for Nav was 2016...

I did the 2016 map update.
The update made no changes to the GUI, so I'm assuming the 2018 update will be the same.
