Best Battery for Coupe

What's a good battery for the Coupe nowadays? I just replaced the Bose stereo in my car with 4 channel and mono amps, twin 10" subs, component speakers, etc and I've got a feeling the Interstate Econo Power battery that came with the car won't be up to the task. Before I did all the audio work if the car sat for three or four days it would barely crank fast enough to start the engine so I figure the Econo Power isn't long for this world. I've been looking at the Optima Yellow Top and I'm wondering if I'll have any fitment issues with it. I've got a 1 awg power wire laying on top of the battery so I have to be careful with a new battery's height. It's tight in there as it is. I'm open to suggestions, I'm not set on the Optima. I've read the threads that already exist on site but most, if not all, of them are several years in the past.
Thanks, Sam

Battery isn't as important as the charging system. Battery is mainly for starting the car. Once the car is running the alternator does the rest of the work.

I understand that, but the battery in the car is weak and won't hold a charge for long. I'm going to need to replace it soon and I'd like to replace it with a higher quality battery. I'm not getting any dimming with the stereo cranked up but still it won't hold a full charge for a week. The output from the alternator is fine.

Go up one or two service ratings/amp-hours. That should noy start the car easier but handle any unexpected draw from your ampitheater sound system.

Thanks. Ampitheater, I like that. In reality it makes the Bose system sound like a transistor radio from the 1950's.

I just replaced my battery with one from AAP. AutoCraft Platinum AGM Battery, Group Size 24F, 710 CCA.
https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/...ontent=general

I was able to find a nice coupon code online and get $50 off. After taxes and my core fee returned the battery cost me about $160. Comes with 3 year free replacement.

I worked here years ago and I rarely saw issues with their batteries so I wanted to give it a shot. I knew I wanted an AGM battery but also wanted one to where if something went wrong I could get it diagnosed/replaced easily. There is one about 10 minutes away from me. I cannot afford down time as it is my daily driver.

Car starts up strong, much better than before but my previous battery was around 3 years old. We will see how it does long run but no issues so far!

AAP website says this battery doesn't fit 08 G37 Coupe?

None taken. I get annoyed when I miss these egregious typing errors. I can't proofread my own stuff to save my life.

Hey, you can spell egregious and even know what it means. That's more than most people.

slovell1 - It will fit no problem. This is what the M37 uses I believe. Infiniti even uses this now instead of the group 35. If you need a picture let me know and I can show you.
