Since I installed the IOS 11.0.1 upgrade my phone would not play music through usb. I deleted the phone and reconnected it and now its working fine again. I hope this might help anyone having this issue. Just make sure when you reconnect your device you connect it with hands free and audio player.

 

i made the mistake of "upgrading" the old iPhone 5C (bought to keep in the center console for music) to IOS 10.

now every 3rd or 4th time i start the car, it can't find the device and i have to unplug and replug it back in.


i ****ing hate Apple.



maybe i'll try deleting it and re-adding it .....
