Hey guys- trying to find a solution that will allow me to run my parking lights as Amber drl's and then when lights come on they dim down to whatever levels are for night driving, but fire up to near full when they are activated for signals, hazard, etc. anybody have this set up or can point me in right direction, ideally plug and play.from reading most are going with clear drl's etc in either fogs or parking lights, but I actually like the Amber I have seen on some cars and I think it will look great . Saw some triton switchback posts and they seem nice and bright drl's but they are pricey and seem to only do the clear to Amber etc...so something like that but Amber...thanks ..

 

Are you talking about like what Pontiac/Chevrolet/Cadillac cars have?

Now now don't get your panties in a bunch....yes, I actually like it and trying to find a solution to this, I mean amber del or clear drl it's nothing more than a color and I prefer the amber color on my black car. Have seen a few of the new Genesis with it and I think it fits well etc , so anybody know of such a bulb???? Thanks

 

Probably not as a plug and play, but you can get switchbacks that will work like that.

 

^^^thanks man, but do you know of where or who etc? everything i see so far have the white led type set up and as nice as they look, just want the amber, but set up so they can be used as drl...since that was the norm X years ago, wouldnt have thought that they would be so difficult to locate , thanks again

 

Triton V3 are considered to be the best switchbacks on the market from what I've seen, but you do pay for them. If you do some searching on this forum for them you'll find plenty of threads that should show you everything you need.
