Help Homelink Mirror Radar Hardwire Issue
Homelink Mirror Radar Hardwire Issue
While hardwiring my radar to the Homelink Mirror my xacto blade touched the brown and black wire and shorted out.
The short caused my guages to stop working, the service engine soon light, VDC OFF & SLIP lighs to turn on.
I found one 10 amp fuse blown in the driver kick panel, replaced it and the guages work and the service engine soon light turned off. HOWEVER, the VDC, SLIP and now the tire pressure light are stuck on.
I checked the small fuse box under the battery cover and the interior kick panel, each and every one.
Anyone run into this issue? Could it be a fuse in the 3rd fuse box that can only he accessed by removing the battery? Any help, ideas, guidance would be helpful. I'm losing my mind.
I just got the 09' 37X Coupe this Tuesday after a drunk driver hit my gf head on on I-35 in my G35.

There is another fusebox sandwiched between the battery compartment and the fender. You have to remove the plastics from the engine bay to access it. Pull the covers, then grab the fusebox and pull it straight up. It has a long enough lead of wires that you can get it all the way out to open it up and look at the fuses. Good luck!
EDIT: You do not have to remove the battery to access this box.

I got some of the plastic off but wasnt aware I could pull that box straight up and do so without removing the battery. Hopefully I can find the blown fuse in that location and it's nothing more serious.
