Aux input question

Sorry if this has been covered but I've searched with no luck. With my 09 coupe, can I adapt the iPod input to Android with success? I don't mind a cord rather than Bluetooth so if it won't work I guess I can just use the a/v to headphone route. I've just heard the sound input was very low level. I have the Bose system btw. Thanks.

you can use a USB Bluetooth adapter. you'll need a 12V USB cig lighter adapter to power it, and a mini-plug to RCA cable.

plug Bluetooth into 12V adapter to power it, then plug the mini cable into the Bluetooth adapter and run it to the RCA inputs. this will contain the mess to inside your armrest, and allow you to mount your phone for easy sight/access without cables stretching to it from the armrest.

I have the exact car as you 2K937S, 09 G with bose with aux inputs. I'm looking for a bluetooth adapter as well. However, I want one that I can hide away and will power on whenever it receives power when I start the car. I want it out of the way, not sticking out anywhere and I don't want to have to press the connect button every time I want to connect my phone to play music. I'm sure the OP would want the same sort of deal. Anyone got any ideas?
Landshark, Do you know if the one that you mentioned does this? Thanks in advance

I got this one on amazon. My only complaint is you have to power it up each time.

the USB-powered one i have powers on with power to the 12V plug (when the car is in ACC or started). phone always connects, no re-pairing needed, but that may depend on your phone ...

its obviously small enough to be used in the armrest.

I got a very very cheap one that looks like it's going to suck but it's been very good to me for like 3 years now. Brand is called lot fancy. Very small and great audio quality. Can't complain. I think it was like 12 bucks or something like that from amazons

I got something similar from Amazon, cheap as well and it works very well but I have to connect to it by turning it on every time I turn the car off and back on. Cuco, does the one you have require you to turn it on or touch it in any way after you turn your car off and on again? I wanna plug it in, hide it and forget about it.

Yes sadly mine does too. But what I did was to extend and mount the button to turn on so I don't have to open my cubby thing or whatever that is called. My Bluetooth is always on so I just get in press button for couple secs and it hooks up right away. If I leave the car and turn off since it runs off its own battery I don't have to repeat if it's been less than 5 min. I would love to find one where I don't have to turn on but I guess I already got used to this set up

the one i have has no buttons on it at all, just a mini-jack for the output. when the 12V accessory plug powers up, so does the Bluetooth receiver.

it looks like a USB flashdrive.

why deal with running on battery/turning-on-and-off B.S. when you can get one for less than $10?
