I had been researching on here on how to play music from my iphone on my 2011 g37 without nav.
I finally figured out how to play music from apps such as Spotify Pandora or any others
So I have USB input but when connected it to the iPhone it won't play anything. I exported one song from my computer over to the iPhone so I will have one song on music library then connected the phone to the usb in the car. I played that one song from apple music app and then went into different music app such as spotify and started playing another song from there and it worked.

I CAN NOW PLAY SONGS FROM APPS ON MY IPHONE, Dont have to put new songs on my phone or store any songs on the phone.

 

YUP! I also have success if I am playing music from the app, then plug it in. The car usually will pick it right up.
